A House of Refuge with Amy Heeter
Have you ever thought about your home as a place of refuge for children? That’s just what Amy Heeter and her husband, Wes created. Amy and Wes have been married for 25 years. They have two adult children, and several other children have been grafted into their family through various circumstances. Amy and Wes have made their home in central Ohio after residing in Granger, IN for a number of years. Amy has worn many hats as a mother, including being a stay at home/homeschooling mom, a Children’s Director at her local church for eight years, and most recently as a teacher and Preschool Director at a Christian school. The Lord has used Amy and her family in a mighty way for children as they have continually surrendered their hearts and home to him. They have become a safe haven for their children’s friends, kids at their local church, and they also consider a foreign exchange student an essential part of their family. Amy has been a living example of motherhood as she allows God to move through her in each encounter and opportunity to share her heart and home. I can’t wait for you to hear her story!
Hello, friend!
I’m so glad you stopped by!
I know life can be crazy sometimes, and it is my prayer that you find comfort, encouragement and hope here.
If we could get together in person I would offer you a cup of coffee and a cookie while we chat in our living room. There is a strong chance we would hear “Bruh” about 6,000 times in the background while my teenage sons battle it out in a video game! But since time and space aren’t always on our side, please grab a free resource, subscribe to my monthly newsletter, or enjoy clicking through some of my blog posts.
I would also love to connect with you on social media! You can follow me at the links below!
